Pajama Drive–Nov. 15 to Dec. 12

This holiday season, Hillpoint Elementary will be participating in a pajama drive. New sets of pajamas, in any size, will be collected starting November 15 until December 12. Donations cannot be accepted on or after December 13.

You may turn in pajamas to your student’s homeroom teacher or at the PTA meeting on December 12.

Parent Teacher Conferences

Friday, November 17th, will be a half day for students.  They will dismiss at 1:05.  Parent teacher conferences will take place from 1:45-5:45 that afternoon.

Appointment times for conferences will be approximately 15 minutes.  To determine if a conference is needed, please review grades in Home Access Center.  You may access your student’s account with their computer credentials, or you may contact Ms. Boynton for parent access to grades.

Please note that your child’s teacher will not be available for a conference unless you notify the teacher that you would like a conference.  Return the flyer with updated phone numbers or emails so that your child’s teacher may contact you to arrange a conference time.

November 1st:  Grade 5 Combined Science Reviews during Resource class in the gym

November 2nd: Patriotic Program for Grade 1 9:30

                          DARE Program 9:00-12:00 at Hillpoint

November 4th: CHANGE YOUR CLOCKS!  Daylight Savings Time Ends tonight

November 6th: End of First Nine Weeks (45 days)

                         Math Jump Start Day for Grades 4 & 5 (Assigned time will be coming soon)

November 7th: NO SCHOOL / Virtual Clerical Day / Election Day

November 10th: NO SCHOOL / Veteran’s Day Holiday

November 14th: PTA 6:30 Family Reading Night “PAWS for Reading”

November 15th: Fall Make-up Pictures

November 17th: Early Dismissal (1:05 Lunch will be served)

                           United Way Dance:  3-5 10:45-11:15 / ES-2 12:15-12:45

Spirit Week!

United Way Spirit Day

Monday: Animal/Farmer Day

Dress up as a farmer or your favorite animal.  Face paint is welcome, but please no masks or tools!

Tuesday: Pajama Day 

Wear your favorite pjs to school.  Clothing must be appropriate–closed toe shoes, no flip flops or slippers, fingertip length on all gowns and shorts (even when worn with leggings), no spaghetti straps.  Please no stuffed animals or blankets.

Wednesday: Jersey Day 

Rock the jersey of your favorite sports team.

Thursday: Superhero Day 

Come dressed as your favorite superhero or be original and be your own superhero!  No masks please!

Friday: Hillpoint Spirit Day

Wear your green and gold and celebrate being a happy Hillpoint Husky!!!
