Our Culture and Values

At Hillpoint Elementary, we strive to create an environment of openness, caring, cooperation and kindness. We believe in the transformative power of family--not just our student families, but being a Hillpoint Husky Family! 

As a school, we work to build strong connections between teachers, staff, students, guardians, and our community. We don't claim to be perfect, but we work together everyday to grow as a Husky Family and to build strong connections that keep us strong. We don't just focus on academics; we focus on the whole child. 

At Hillpoint, we work to create unique experiences and chances for all parts of our Husky family to shine. 

• Parent Volunteers: Parents and guardians have a variety of ways to support Hillpoint, including helping at arrival/dismissal, supporting students in the cafeteria, working with the PTA, and helping to assist with special events. 
• Reading to students: Throughout the year, various members of our talented staff read live to students to share their love of books and the importance of literacy. 
• Leadership Programs: We provide a variety of opportunities for students to grow their leadership skills, from clubs like the Media Club, Ladies of Distinction and Safety Patrol, to special events like Principal for a Day.
